Flipped my car on a suspended license and left the scene. How much trouble am i in?

I had a DUI reduced to Reckless Driving on June 2. I hit a curb on my way home from work Friday night and overcorrected and Flipped my car. The only damage was to my car, no other property damage or vehicles. I was not injured and there were no witnesses. My phone was dead and I panicked and left the scene with a passer-by who told me I could use his phone charger. My parents were called (car is in their name) and they came to the scene. The police said that my license was suspended and I could be cited for that, although technically they do not know wlho was driving the car. I received a voicemail from the deputy last night saying he needed a return phone call to finish his report and he could not guarantee that I would be incarserated. Do I have to call him back? Can they issue a citation if they do not know who was driving? In Floirida I think leaving the scene is only a crime if there is damage to someone else's property. Also I am on probabtion for the reckless driving. I don't want to VOP. Can they really do anything to me or are they trying to scare me?
