Im not happy with my boyfriend? I dont get it?

Ok so i just moved on tge other side of canada to meet friends and explore but i met a guy instead who is totally sweet,caring,down to earth but hes really sticky... Its sooo weird he will never go home, i have to tell him i need time apart but he just gets mad. And as far as meeting new friends go i havent because he doesnt wanna go places with me like a bar or a outdoor event he thinks some guy will come try n steal me. I do love him hes great hes so kindhe even told my mom "i love your daughter" i just feel like im missing out im 21 and new around this place, i am a cute funny witty girl... And ill mention my boyfriebd is missing a few teeth and it bugs me he keeps making appointments to get tbe rest fixed but ends up not going that bugs me. What should i do? In so confused i do love him but i feel no passion or real connection. Hes scuch a sweet guy i know i cant find anyone who would love me as muc as him id be sad to leave him but happy.. I never get alone time or get to meet people...
