Should i drop Jordan Zimmerman for a pitcher?

I assume you are not playing in a keeper league, in which case, yes, you should drop Zimmerman. He will be a fantasy-worthy pitcher in a season or two, but not in 2011. Just about any of those guys are an upgrade over Zim, including Lowe who just threw almost six scoreless innings on Opening Day, but for my money, I would pick up Gio Gonzalez. He should be owned in any league with ten or more teams and given that you own Jordan Zimmerman, I'd say you're well beyond that. Pick up Gonzalez as he is at a level now that Jordan Zimmerman won't be near for at least a year or two!
