Can i make a complaint to the school for slander?

my daughters have just learned to ride their bikes without stabilisers, as you can imagine they fell off their bikes a few times and knocked themselves....obviously this has resulted in some bruises on their legs. when i took my daughters to school a couple of days later, i explained to the teachers where the bruises had come from. now wen i went to the school this morning i was told by a teacher the deputy head wants a word with you in the office. i went in and was told by her " the teachers have raised concerns over the bruising on your childrens legs , and iv had to inform child protection" . i explained that id spoke to the teachers to tell them where the bruises came from. it was pointless as this fell on deaf ears. im just wondering where do i go from here? i cant believe it! surely then cant just go around accusing parents of harming their children? iv informed my solicitor and i hav an appointment to go and see him in 9 days. i cant eat or function im constantly feeling sick. what is this world coming to
