Is it possible or likely that a "resisting w/ violence" charge can be dropped through a deposition?

Is it possible or likely that a "resisting w/ violence" charge can be dropped by going through deposition with the officer that expierienced the crime present and/or the arresting officer. My lawyer is very good and got all charges dropped except for this one because there was no probable cause. He informed me that the only way to get the last charge dropped would be through a deposition with the arresting officer or officer that was being resisted. By the way, this is a juvenile justice case, meaning it is a different type of game. Also after fleeing the officer i was tackled by a civillian and cut up on the concrete, the officer came and tried to help the civillian with no luck untill a second deputy arrived on the scene. Although this is considered citizens arrest is there also any way that that part of the story could go in my favor?
