Does anyone else hate baby leashes?

I agree they don't seem nice and I don't use mine unless I have to and holding hands is great but bear in mind 2 year olds have their own ideas sometimes dont want to hold hands and like to run off it's vital for safety near roads and in busy public places James Bulgar got taken from a public place at age 3 there would be an instance where reins would have saved him I do know where your coming from though if the world was a simpler place.
