My cat seems over protective with her kittens..advice please?

my cat had 2 kittens just over 4weeks ago. she has been really good with them but now the kittens have got more active and exploring more she doesn't seem to like it, she meows allot and tends to drag them back to the bedroom. they don't know how to use the litter tray yet either. what do i do?
